• The TeenLink

Description: TeenLink is a Teen lead meeting (with an adult to keep them focused) to discuss what type of community service they would like to do. The teens discuss, plan and execute many types of community service including feeding the homeless, painting shelters for battered women, drive by rakings, making greeting cards for the troops overseas and many other activities.
When: Every Monday night 7pm to 8pm. Don't be late, as you get 1.5 hours credit if you are on time and leave on time.

• Teen Speakers Bureau

Description: After six months of sobriety, teens in TeenLink can become a speaker for Pier Panel. (A court ordered session where teens tell their stories to other teens.) After the community service they get involved with, many teens feel they want to give back to the community and this program allows them to tell thier stories to hopefully reach just one other teen to help them make better decisions next time.
When: Ongoing.

• Juvenile Peer Panel

Provide the opportunity for youths to be exposed to other teens attitudes, experiences and resources that support a decision not to use alcohol, tobacco or other drugs (ATOD).
*Expose teens to negative consequences of drug use
*Introduce youths to variety of attitudes, experiences, and resources used by panelists to make and support decision to live ATOD free
*Give information on benefits of drug free lifestyle
When: The first Thursday evening of every month from 7pm to 8pm.
Where: Court Services, 119th and Ridgeview next to Sonic.
